Alexandre Ryjov

Alexandre Ryjov is a research assistant in the Civil Engineering Departmentwith a strong interest in sustainable infrastructure and materials. His research experience includes supporting the study of pretreatments for eco-friendly alternatives to conventional concrete ingredients funded by the Hinkley Center. He is actively contributing to projects that employs x-ray backscatter imaging to efficiently scan railway infrastructure for signs of deterioration. He is currently completing his transfer requirements at Santa Fe College and looks forward to joining the civil engineering community at the University of Florida. He is committed to advancing practical, research-driven approaches to engineering challenges.
